Future Students
Let’s get started! Discover what sets AMPA apart from a standard university music course or studio dance program.
FIND YOUR VOICE
We recognise that finding a university is challenging and choosing the right course is an important decision for your future. Our admissions team is available to help you navigate this critical journey and make an informed choice for your professional and creative future.
Public universities can be a challenging environment for many students. This is often due to the growth of large lectures, bureaucratic processes, a shift to online learning and limited interaction with faculty. On the flip side, completing a course at a dance or music studio can be much more engaging, but these programs are usually skills-based and lack the qualifications and higher education learning outcomes needed for job roles or postgraduate study. Completing a degree with AMPA empowers you with the AQF Level 7 qualifications and higher order skills while pursuing intensive practical training in your discipline. All learning is highly individualised and you will be under the close guidance of expert industry practitioners. With a small, like-minded community you will be immersed with your peers each day and form strong relationships throughout the degree (and usually in the industry upon graduation).
