"I chose to study at AMPA to further my studies in Dance Education whilst continuing my performing career. The Bachelor degree enabled me to enter into the Postgraduate Masters of Teaching to become a qualified High School Dance Teacher. I enjoyed the focus on choreography and creativity in the course, embodying practical learning experiences of daily improvisation and task work - tools of composition that assist my knowledge for Teaching composition to my students. AMPA accommodated me as a working professional, providing flexible learning options to complete my degree. Now, I am currently completing my Masters degree online whilst performing internationally."
Emma is a Sydney-based performer, teacher and choreographer, currently performing internationally with Celebrity Cruises.
Emma recently performed as Maria in the Australian production of 9 to 5 the Musical (Crossroads Live), national tour in 2022. She has been fortunate to make her way around the world performing with Hi-5, The Fairies, Barney Party Series (MEI/Smile Live Ent), on the Brilliance of the Seas (Royal Caribbean), and currently on the Celebrity Apex (Celebrity Cruises).
Her screen credits include the feature film Dance Academy: The Comeback (Werner Films), TV series Dance Academy (season 3) and Deadly Women as well as numerous commercials.
Emma’s creative and choreographic credits include Fame! The Musical, Seussical! The Musical (Birdie Productions), C’Mon! The Lleyton Hewitt Musical (ATYP), Margaret Fulton: Queen of the Dessert (Bondi Theatre Company), Once Upon A Time and Wish Upon A Star (JEM Entertainment of which she is co-founder).
